Recording Artist Inertia looks to inspire youth with heartfelt music.
Record producer and
hip hop recording artist, Inertia, is gearing for the release his 1st
studio album ‘Misunderstood’ and he’s on mission.
That mission is to
make young men and women feel ‘seen’. “There are too many kids who grow up today
feeling unseen; feeling like they are not understood,” Says Inertia, “Many of
them are intelligent kids, who are afraid to express their true selves in fear
of being judged by the masses. I feel this is a serious epidemic and I think I
can help through the gift of music!”
Inertia has contributed
production for Soulja Boy Tell Em’s The DeAndre Way and was the winner
of the ATL iStandard Producer Showcase and Founder of MyPersonalProducer.com.
“The future of hip-hop is bright and you have
a lot of talented artist out here right now. A lot of artists catch heat or
bashed for their music not being as good as the last generation. Drake, Meek
Mill, J.Cole, Kendrick Lamar and a few others are all amazing and geniuses in
their own right.”
He hopes not to
recreate hip hop, but to a give a voice to what people are thinking.
His single So Far (N****) has
received over 4,000 plays on SoundCloud its release two months ago. The song
has gained attention due to the controversial subject matter. “I had an idea to
write a song about the word N****. It has become a word that many talk about,
but not really talking about the viewpoint from this generation. That’s why I
made it. “
